Between 50,000-60,0000 people made their way to the Texas Jazz Festival this past weekend, despite the rain on Friday.
"People were dancing in the rain," Jazz Festival President Rick Sanchez said. "They didn't care. It was fantastic."
Sanchez said their best days were Saturday and Sunday. They actually saw more people during those two days than they did last year -- and plans are already underway for next year, as the Texas Jazz Festival celebrate 54 years of providing South Texans with the only free jazz festival of its kind in the country.
