CCPD Officers say that a woman was shot at least once during a wild Halloween party. Police say they arrived to the home at the corner of Mt. Vernon Drive and Wexford around 3am on Saturday. The house was full of young people ranging in age from 12 to 21. Investigators say there were liquor and beer bottles everywhere along with a stripper pole. They ended up writing 52 tickets for curfew violations. Parents had to come and get their children as police also tried to figure out how the shooting happened. Now, a female shooting victim showed up to Bay Area hospital at 2:30 Saturday morning. She was quickly taken to Spohn Memorial Hospital. Right after that, someone called police to report the loud party on Wexford. It was then that police figured out that the shooting victim at the hospital had been at the party. Officers also say they found one bullet hole from the shooting inside the home, but had heard the woman could have been shot up to three times.
