Investigators have determined that fire wood that was believed to be out is to blame for an apartment complex fire.The blaze broke out just after two this morning at the South Bluff apartments on Carancahua and Park.Investigators say the flames were quickly extinguished and most of the damage was outside of the complex.Kenneth Erben, Corpus Christi Fire Department, says,"all fire damage is all exterior. no firefighter injuries. one civilian injury, non-life threatening."Two families were displaced by this fire. One of them, a family of four, two adults and two children is receiving assistance from the American Red Cross.
