Sunday morning police were back out at a home behind the 3 News studios where they'd written 52 citations at last weekend. This time the latest underage drinking party included pot and a number of actual arrests. 3 teenagers were charged as adults because of either being on drugs and/or pot. Police believe dozens of kids were at the party at the house on Wexford and Mt. Vernon. Officers say they got a call about an underage drinking party and when they arrived they found a number of drunk teens outside the house. They caught 6 of them. 3 went to jail because they were at least 17 years old while the younger teens were turned over to their parents because the Juvenile Detention Center does not take drunks. Last weekend, a huge underage party took place as the teens were celebrating Halloween. This time though, police say most of the kids ran back into the house and locked the doors. They refused to let police in. Officers waited for the kids to come outside because they did not have probable cause to go inside the home. Officer Paul Janko told us, "What we're doing actively is one, we are patrolling this house as much as possible, this house is no mystery to us...they had a party and we do the best we can with what we have." Now, at that party last weekend, a woman was said to have been shot inside the home at least once and was taken to the hospital by someone there at the party. Later, police arrived to the home on a loud noise call and were able to connect the shooting to the underage drinking party.
