The Refugio Bobcats had a shot at scoring 100 points tonight in Victoria against out-manned Nixon-Smiley. Coach Jason Herring his football off the gas after scoring 82 points in the first three quarters, as Refugio rolled to an 82-26 win. The Bobcats will play Danbury in Round Two.

The Odem Owls hosted Jourdanton tonight in hopes of moving past round one. Jourdanton had other ideas, as the Indians beat the Owls 25-7.

The Ben Bolt Badgers provided our Play of the Week as they took on Kenedy on the new turf field in Taft. But Isaac Garcia's circus catch wasn't enough for the Badgers, as Ben Bolt lost to Kenedy 60-12.

The King Mustang Marching Band provided the soundtrack for tonight's Playoff Marching Scoreboard.
