CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

Emergency crews had to extricate a man from his vehicle after a rollover accident on Weber near Saturn Road just after noon Monday.

The driver was wearing his seat belt when his minivan, heading southbound on Weber, was struck by a sedan coming out of Saturn Road, causing the minivan to rollover. He was stuck in his vehicle, hanging upside down from his seat belt.

First responders quickly pulled the man from the minivan. He did not appear to be injured, but was taken to the hospital to be checked out.

Aside from a lost bumper, the sedan that was involved in the accident received minimal damage and was able to drive away from the scene after police arrived. The driver sustained no injuries, but was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
