The Ronald McDonald House Receives Holiday Cheer

Making a home away from home a little warmer can be tough especially during the holiday season. Two local non-profits are doing just that to help families with sick or injured children feel more comfortable during the holiday season.

The New Neighbors League of Corpus Christi has teamed up with the Ronald McDonald House Charities in Corpus Christi to make their home away from home during the holidays more cheerful.

The New Neighbors League raised thousands of dollars to fill every room in the Ronald McDonald House with all kinds of Christmas decorations.

They thought of all kinds of details- from Christmas trees with ornament toys for the children to take to filling the kitchen pantry with hot cocoa.

To help out or donate to the Ronald McDonald House you can purchase the Southern Comfort Christmas cook book for $11 at Dillards or the Ronald McDonald House with proceeds going toward the families. To donate directly check the web site at www.corpuschristirmhc.org
