Salvation Army Bell Ringer Finishes His Run at 35 Hours

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

Valentin Garcia with the local chapter of the Salvation Army was attempting to break the World Record Bell Ringing Contest of 80 hours this week, but called it quits after 35 hours.

His goal was to stand and ring the bell for 80 consecutive hours, a record that was set in 2011.
