Dog Thought to be Neglected, Now Safe at Animal Care Services

Posted: Updated:

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) We have an update on a chocolate lab named Daisy found in a private yard during the worst of the freezing weather over the weekend. She was thought to be abandoned by her owners.  Turns out they were in the process of moving.  Neighbors took it upon themselves to feed the dog.  The owners have since handed over custody of Daisy to Animal Care Services.  Because of all the attention, there's already a pending adoption for the dog.  Daisy's story is just one of many.  There are between 200-300 animals at Animal Care Services on any given day who need a forever home.  If you are interested in adopting one, stop by 2626 Holly Rd.
