Drunk Driver Runs From Cops Crashes Into 2 Cars

Investigators on Saturday morning trying to sort out all the details involving a drunk driver who took off from police and ended slamming into two cars at Staples and Curtis Clark.  The driver's SUV rolled over in that accident which happened Friday night around 11:30.  Now, it all began when two off duty uniformed police officers, from out of town, spotted the drunk on the road. They called CCPD.  When our officers arrived they started talking with that driver.  But he quickly decided to just drive off. That's when the chase began, but when thing's got too wild, police called off the pursuit.  Still, the driver ending up crashing his SUV and fortunately all the injuries in that crash were minor. That, despite the fact, that the drunk driver was thrown from his SUV.
