Garage Fire Causes Tense Moments for Fire Fighters

Posted: Updated:
ROBSTOWN (Kiii News) -

Some tense moments for a family out near Robstown after they realize their garage apartment is on fire. The fire broke out just before 12:30 Sunday afternoon on County Road 48 and 69.

When fire fighters arrived, the garage was fully engulfed. It took fire crews about an hour to get that fire under control.

They say it took awhile, because they had to make sure a nearby propane tank didn't blow up. Luckily fire crews were able to stop the fire from spreading over into the house.

No word yet on what sparked the blaze.
