Men Identified Following Workplace Accident on Interstate 37

The Nueces County Medical Examiners Office has released the names of the two men killed in a construction accident from over the weekend.

57-year old Andres Olivarez from Mathis and 19-year old Colter Huff from Temple, GA were both killed on Sunday while working at a storage site near the intersection of Southern Minerals and Up River Road.

Police say the two men were working on the roof area when it came down on top of them. The company, TARSCO, released a statement late last night and says the Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating.

"TARSCO is saddened to confirm that at approximately 2 PM (CST) in Corpus Christi, Texas, a fatal incident involving two workers occurred at a terminal site near I-37 and Southern Minerals Road. At this time, the incident is under investigation by OSHA and other authorities; additional details will be forthcoming at the appropriate time," says TARSCO public affairs representative Kelly Kimberly.
