Tips on Toy Safety this Holiday Season from the BBB

Parents before you make your lists and check them twice, make sure the toys you are buying for your children this holiday season are safe.

The Better Business Bureau has the latest tips when it comes to buying toys this holiday season.

Before you buy those toys or if you already have bought them, make sure to visit the 2013 recall toy list at .  Also Tracy Bracy with the Better Business Bureau in Corpus Christi says to remember the three Bs, when shopping for children.

"Burns, Balloons and Batteries" are all things to keep in mind when shopping for children. Don't buy them items that charge or can cause burns. Balloons can be hazardous to young children because they can become a choking hazard when not blown up. Finally, make sure to that if a toy requires small batteries, keep those batteries away from toddlers. Small batteries can easily be swallowed, which can cause major problems when that happens.
