Suspect in Kidnapping, Sexual Assault of 11-Year Old Pleads Guilty

Posted: Updated:

The second of three young men suspected in the kidnapping and sexual assault of an 11-year old girl last December plead guilty in court on Friday.

In the 319th District Court, 20-year old Colton Visor plead guilty on both counts of aggravated kidnapping and aggravated sexual assault. He also agreed to testify against Eric Dimick, the only suspect in the case that is still awaiting trial.

After the plea deal was accepted, the victim's mother spoke to Visor.

"The choices that you made with your friends that night stole my daughter's innocence and destroyed more than just our family, but so many others," the victim's mother said. "It took more than I think you'll ever fathom. If God ever grants you the opportunity to have children, I pray that that still weighs heavy on you."

Earlier this year, co-defendant Jacob Musich was found guilty and sentenced to life in prison. He was the first of the three suspects to go to trial, and said he was on synthetic marijuana at the time of the incident.
