Dash Cam Video of Cab Driver Severely Injured in Crash Released

New video of the accident that severely injured a cab driver has been released. We do want to warn you the video may be disturbing. In the dash cam video from Tom Nelson's Green-N-Go cab, he is seen driving in the early morning hours of December 5th. Then all of a sudden the car is hit. The driver of the SUV that struck Nelson has since turned himself and is facing charges.

In the meantime, Nelson is out of ICU, but remains in the hospital undergoing rehab. Nelson is a husband and the father of two children with another one on the way. His family is currently staying in Pennsylvania.

Green-N-Go is working to relocate the family to Corpus Christi. The company is currently searching for an apartment complex for the Nelson's and will cover six-months rent. If you would like to help, call the number on your screen at 299-9999.
