First Place Up For Grabs For Islanders

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii Sports) - First place will be on the line Saturday night as Texas A&M-Corpus Christi looks to follow up one signature win with another.

The Islanders (6-10, 3-0) will be taking on Stephen F. Austin (14-2, 3-0) with first place on the line at the American Bank Center. Both are undefeated in conference, the Islanders remaining so after beating the defending conference champion Northwestern State Thursday with a 101 point scoring barrage. The Lumberjacks come in having won 11 straight games overall.

Tipoff is set for 6:30 p.m. following the women's game earlier in the day. We'll have highlights for you Saturday at 10 p.m.
