Police Investigating Death of 4 Month Old Baby

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

Police are investigating the death of a 4 month old baby found in its mother's bed. Officers were called out to the Paradise Bay Apartments just before 9 Saturday morning.

According to police, the baby was sleeping in the bed with it's mother. When she woke up, the baby was not responding.

The infant was taken to Driscoll Children's Hospital.

Police are still investigating and awaiting an autopsy report to see the exact cause of the baby's death.
