Missing Elderly Man Found, Moved Without Notifying Family

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

According to police, the 78-year old man that had been reported missing on Jan. 8 has been found. He apparently just moved without telling anyone.

After seeing his face on the news and realizing that police were looking for him, 78-year old Albert Compton Almaguer called officers and told them where he was, police said.

Neighbors had not seen the elderly security guard around his residence since October of 2013, and he had not picked up his mail either. Police feared that foul play was involved in his disappearance.

Almaguer told police he had moved without notifying his family or friends.
