TAMUK Enrollment Up by 10-Percent Compared to Last Year

The spring semester is shaping up to be a good one for Texas A&M University-Kingsville when it comes to student enrollment.

Classes began Monday for TAMUK, and officials at the University said enrollment numbers are up 10-percent compared to this time last year, with the engineering department being cited as one of the main reasons for the jump.

The spring semester also began Monday at Del Mar College. Classes at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi will begin Jan. 22.
