Third Suspect in Kidnapping, Rape Case Requests Change of Venue

Posted: Updated:
CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

Eric Dimmick, the third remaining suspect charged in the 2012 kidnapping and rape of an 11-year old girl, is asking for a change of venue.

If granted, that would mean his case will be heard in another court outside of Nueces County. The hearing to determine whether or not he will be granted that change of venue will be held Jan. 31.

It was just last month that Colton Visor plead guilty as part of a plea deal from the victim's family. That deal includes testifying against Dimmick in February.

Jacob Musich, the first suspect to go to trial, was found guilty in October of last year and is serving life in prison.
