ROBSTOWN (Kiii News) -

The final day for the Nueces County Jr Livestock Show brought in big money and big winners. Today was the Parade of Champions at the Richard Borchard Fairgrounds in Robstown. Several livestock went for thousands of dollars thanks to all the hard work by the students who put their heart and soul into raising and showing their animals.

Of course all the money will go towards scholarships for those students. Maverick Mcelroy from Banquete High School won Supreme Breeding today. Maverick said, "it means a lot to me and my family. We've all been involved in it for a very long time and it has been a lot of hard work."

We also spoke with Colton Bausch from Calallen High School who won Grand Champion Lamb. This was his second year winning in that division. The story tonight on 3 News!
