Local 11 Year Old Boy Beats World Record during Houston Half-Marathon

He's only 11 years old and Sunday a Corpus Christi athlete has set a new world record. Brothers 13 year old Tristan Perez and his brother 11 year old Hunter competed in a half marathon Sunday morning in Houston with team Elite Feet. 

Turns out Hunter, who's on the right in this picture set a new record, coming in at one hour, 23 minutes, and 56 seconds.  It's a title formally held by a kid in Sweden.  His brother Tristan also running an amazing time, coming in 3rd place in his age division.  The boy's parents say they are extremely proud of them.
