Three South Texas Men Killed in Accident Near Laredo

LAREDO (Kiii News) -

Two men from Alice and one from San Diego were killed in an early-morning accident near Laredo Monday morning.

The accident happened near Encinal, which is just north of Laredo. Department of Public Safety officials said the Dodge pickup the men were riding in crashed into the back of an 18-wheeler that was parked on the side of the road. All three passengers were pronounced dead at the scene.

The men have been identified as 39-year old Ricardo Rene Tanguma of Alice, 24-year old Andres Hinojosa, Jr. of San Diego, and 32-year old Adrian Trevino of Alice.

A fourth man, 24-year old David Trevino of Alice, was driving the pickup. He was airlifted from the scene. His condition is unknown at this hour.
