Emerging Communications Industry Executives Of Color To Be Honored During The NAMIC Annual Awards Breakfast Scheduled For May 1st in Los Angeles
NEW YORK, Feb. 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- NAMIC (National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications) is now accepting nominations for the 2014 Next Generation Leaders Awards. Honoring emerging executives for their professional achievements, as well as their efforts in fostering multi-ethnic diversity and inclusion, the Next Generation Leaders Awards will be presented during the NAMIC Annual Awards Breakfast. Scheduled for Thursday, May 1, 2014, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Los Angeles Convention Center, the NAMIC Annual Awards Breakfast is held in conjunction with The Cable Show.
Since its inception in 2006, the Next Generation Leaders Awards have recognized executives of color, who reflect and embrace NAMIC's mission to educate, advocate and empower to achieve multi-ethnic diversity in the communications industry. Business leaders age 45 and under are eligible for nomination. Awards are presented in four categories: Cable MSO, Cable Programmer, Technology Company or Discipline and Creative Discipline. Presented in partnership with Multichannel News, the nominations deadline for the 2014 Next Generation Leaders Awards is February 28, 2014.
