Authorities in Jim Wells County have obtained an arrest warrant for 25-year old John Otero Arroyo from Alice. Arroyo is accused of breaking into a home along County Road 171 in Jim Wells County and taking off in a stolen S-U-V early Tuesday morning.

Officials used OnStar to track the stolen vehicle to Corpus Christi. Corpus Christi Police were notified and located the stolen S-U-V along Ocean Drive near Poenisch Park. The suspect then led CCPD on a foot chase in the area that forced the lockdown of Montclair Elementary and Cullen Place Middle School.

The Jim Wells County Sheriff's Office has obtained a pair of warrants for Arroyo, one for Burglary and another for Unauthorized Use of A Motor Vehicle. If you have any information you're asked to call 361-668-0341 or Crime Stoppers.
