CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

The City of Corpus Christi is looking for volunteers to help out in this weekend's glass recycling event at Del Mar College's East Campus.

The City's Solid Waste Operations and Clean City Committee are hosting the event from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, in the Del Mar College parking lot on Ayers Street, across from Church's Chicken. All colors of clean glass of any type will be accepted.

Community service hours are available for volunteers who want to lend a hand. The City advises that, if you do volunteer, wear closed-toe shoes, hats and sunscreen.

If you have glass to recycle, please keep the glass separated by color.

For more information call Russel Stowers at 361-826-1655.
