ROBSTOWN (Kiii News) -

The Robstown Police Department needs your help finding a Hispanic man they believe stole diesel fuel from a couple of gas stations in recent days.

Police say the man seen in surveillance video has been using a pre-paid Visa RushCard to steal the fuel. The thefts happened on Feb. 5 and 9 at the Stripes store in the 100 block of West Avenue J and the Snappy gas station at 1200 East Highway 44.

Authorities say the man has stolen nearly $800 worth of diesel fuel.

"Unfortunately, by the time that the businesses realized that these cards are invalid, the suspects are long gone," Robstown Detective Martin Flores said. "They drive off and they don't even bother to go and pick up the card or make any contact because, you know, it's not their card."

If you recognize the man seen in the surveillance video, please call the Robstown Police Department at 361-387-3531.
