Six-Year Old Boy's Funeral Costs Almost Covered After Fundraising

Posted: Updated:
CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

The family of six-year old Greg Martinez, who died Saturday after a truck backed up over him near his home on Devon Street, have almost raised enough money to cover the cost of his funeral.

They just need a little more help.

The family held a fundraiser at Huertas Tamales off Staples and Carroll Lane this weekend to raise money for his funeral. As of this weekend, the family gathered most of the cost for funeral expenses, but they need a little bit more to cover minor details.

An account has been set up at First National Bank under the name Monica. The account number is 443338199.

The funeral will be held Wednesday at the Trevino Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens.
