The Coyotes jumped on the board early in the top of the first-inning as Alice pitcher Chris Gonzales helped out his own cause with a RBI double, pushing the first run across in the stadium's history. The Coyotes would score twice in the inning to take a 2-0 lead.

T-M came back in the bottom half of the inning as Nathan Frietag put the Warriors on the board with a RBI groundout to cut the lead to 2-1.

Alice would later break a 3-3 tie in the sixth-inning with three runs to clinch the win.
