LAWTON, OK (Kiii Sports)- Looking to complete the season sweep of Cameron, the Texas A&M-Kingsville men's basketball team rallied from an 8-point deficit on the final 3:47 to pull within one with under 20 seconds left in 63-58 loss on Wednesday.

The Javelinas fall to 8-16 overall and 3-9 in the Lone Star Conference, while Cameron is 11-12 overall and 5-7 in the league. Trailing 59-51 with 3:47 left following a Tank Mayberry layin, Adonis Bailey began a 7-0 by hitting 1-of-2 free throws with 3:17 left. Following a pair of free throws by Irvin Hollinger with 2:37 left, Ta'Quan McDew came up with a steal. Bailey would convert a layin with 1:32 left to make it a 59-56. After Hollinger missed a pair of free throws that would have pulled Kingsville to with a point with 1:01 remaining, the Javelinas forced a team turnover to get the ball back.

McDew's three on the ensuing possession was off target with half a minute remaining. Ronald Scott pulled Kingsville to within a point at 59-58 with 16 seconds left. In order to get the ball back, the Javelinas fouled the Aggies three times in the next two seconds to send Cameron to the line. Aaron Thompson would connect on a pair of free throws with 14 seconds left to make the score 61-58.
