LAWTON, OK (Kiii Sports)- Looking to complete the season sweep of Cameron, the Texas A&M-Kingsville men's basketball team rallied from an 8-point deficit on the final 3:47 to pull within one with under 20 seconds left in 63-58 loss on Wednesday.

The Javelinas fall to 8-16 overall and 3-9 in the Lone Star Conference, while Cameron is 11-12 overall and 5-7 in the league. Trailing 59-51 with 3:47 left following a Tank Mayberry layin, Adonis Bailey began a 7-0 by hitting 1-of-2 free throws with 3:17 left. Following a pair of free throws by Irvin Hollinger with 2:37 left, Ta'Quan McDew came up with a steal. Bailey would convert a layin with 1:32 left to make it a 59-56. After Hollinger missed a pair of free throws that would have pulled Kingsville to with a point with 1:01 remaining, the Javelinas forced a team turnover to get the ball back.

McDew's three on the ensuing possession was off target with half a minute remaining. Ronald Scott pulled Kingsville to within a point at 59-58 with 16 seconds left. In order to get the ball back, the Javelinas fouled the Aggies three times in the next two seconds to send Cameron to the line. Aaron Thompson would connect on a pair of free throws with 14 seconds left to make the score 61-58.

Earlier in the evening, The Texas A&M-Kingsville women's basketball team fell to the Aggies of Cameron 83-69 on Wednesday night.
   
The Javelinas jumped out to an early lead at 5-4 following five points from Lauren Jay in the first half. However, the Aggies began to pull away with an 18-point lead at the end of the first half.
   
Kingsville came out fighting in the second half with a layup from Ashley Viera at the 18:52 mark but it would not be enough. The Javelinas were 60.9% from the free throw line and 33.8% from the field.
 
The top scorers in tonight's game for the Javelinas were Lindsey Mahone (21 points) and Sheana Jones (10 points). Rosalie Cutri had a team-high five steals.
 
Cameron shot over 58% from the floor and had five players in double figures. Jerl Hade led the way with 20 points.
