Murder Suspect Tommy Caughman Makes First Court Appearance

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

The Bishop man accused of killing his sister-in-law back is back in Nueces County and appeared in court Monday morning.

Elizabeth Caughman, a librarian at Bishop High School, was killed on Jan. 15. The accused shooter, Tommy Caughman, was captured in Cheyenne, Wyoming, two weeks ago, and was extradited back to Nueces County.

On Monday, Caughman made his first appearance in court. He is now facing murder charges, and his bond has been set at $1 million.
