Islanders Celebrate Homecoming Week With Parade & Events

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

Texas A&M University Corpus Christi celebrates homecoming this week with a variety of events.

Join the Islanders in celebrating with the lighting of the "I" Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the Dugan Wellness Center, this event is free and open to the public.

The pinnacle of the homecoming festivities will be on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. when the parade marches down Shoreline Blvd. and Peoples Street and ends at the American Bank Center.

After the parade will be a tailgate party in the parking lot of the American Bank Center, before the Islanders Men's Basketball team take on Houston Baptist at 7 p.m.
