City Manager Announces Appointment of New Interim City Attorney

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

City Manager Ron Olson announced Friday that Austin-based Attorney Barney L. Knight will be taking the position of interim city attorney beginning March 3.

Knight is a partner with Knight & Partners of Austin, practicing municipal law to represent local governments. He has 30 years of legal experience and has served in a several city appointments, including city attorney of Austin and Temple, Texas.

In the meantime, Lisa Aguilar will be returning to her position as senior assistant city attorney.
