Kids Battle Cancer Is A Non-Profit Who Needs Your Help

Posted: Updated:

Kids Battle Cancer Foundation is a local non-profit organization that provides financial assistance to families that are going through the very difficult times of raising a child with cancer.
Saturday morning, the president of Kids Battle Cancer, Gabby Gruber joined us live on the set to tell us more about the organization's mission, and how the community can help them raise funds.
Saturday, we also talked with Amanda Garcia, who lost her little boy Eric to leukemia in 2012.  Kids Battle Cancer assisted Garcia with her rent, and funeral expenses.
Kids Battle Cancer will be set up outside the Walmart at Parkdale Plaza today and Sunday to accept donations.
The non-profit is also looking for a volunteer to act as an events coordinator, to help the organization plan a large fundraising event.
