The U.S. Navy's Blue Angels are returning to the skies over South Texas March 29-30 for the Wings Over South Texas air show at Naval Air Station-Kingsville.

Admission and parking are free, and the event is sure to be fun for the entire family.

A total of 14 aviation acts make up the card for this year's air show, including the Blue Angels, world aerobatic champion Rob Holland, the Disabled American Veterans' historic B-25 Mitchell bomber, Greg Colyer and his T-33 Shooting Star, Andrew Wright and his Carboob Fiber G202, and the world-famous Shockwave Jet Truck!

Also on the card is former Navy pilot Justin Lewis and his FLS Microjet, Tiger Air Show's Circus Maximus, Randy Ball and his Russian-built Mig-17F, Dallas-native Jan Collmer and his Fina 300L, and former King Ranch pilot Paul Fiala and his Great Lakes biplane. The jump team for the show is Skydive South Texas.

The air show weekend at NAS-Kingsville kicks-off with a Wings Over South Texas pep rally from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Friday, March 28, at Texas A&M University-Kingsville's Javelina Stadium. More than 5,000 school children from throughout South Texas are expected to be on hand for this event, which is coordinated by the TAMUK athletic department.

Friday evening features a Meet the Performers Social at the King Ranch Museum on 6th Street from 7-9 p.m. You will be able to meet all the performers of Wings Over South Texas 2014 at this event and get autographs and take photos with your favorite performer. This is also a free event that is open to the public.

Gates will open at 8 a.m. air show weekend, with the midway opening at 9 a.m. and the show starting at 11 a.m. Kiii-TV is a proud sponsor of the event. We hope to see you there!
