Seventh Annual Kiii-TV Early Bird Reader Book Drive

Posted: Updated:
CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

Getting children started on reading at an early age is important to the development of these young minds. That's why we at Kiii-TV are hosting the Early Bird Reader Book Drive on Friday, March 28.

During the event, we will be collecting new and like-new books or monetary donations. Members of the Flint Hills Resources Community Action Council, along with 3News anchors, will be in front of the Kiii-TV studios at 5002 South Padre Island Drive from 5 a.m.-6:30 p.m. collecting books and donations.

The Early Bird Reader Program is designed to give older kids the opportunity to read the books to their younger siblings.
