Customer Information at Local Spec's Stores Compromised

Posted: Updated:
CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

Have you shopped at Spec's lately? If you have, you might want to check your credit card information. Five stores in the Coastal Bend have had customer information compromised.

Those five stores are among 34 Spec's stores that have had private customer information such as credit card numbers and check information compromised. It all happened between Oct. 31, 2012, and March 20 of this year, so if you've shopped there in that time, your information may have been jeopardized.

A spokesperson for Spec's said they believe 550,000 customers and Specs employees were affected.

The Corpus Christi stores affected are on 10529 SPID, 4318 Ayers, 4733 South Alameda, 620 Old Robstown Road and 6401 Weber.

If you have any questions, a customer hotline has been set up. Just call 855-731-6017.
