CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

A motorcyclist is sent to the hospital Saturday morning after another driver cuts him off. The accident happened on the 47-hundred block of Ayers near Sunnybrook road just before 10 this morning.

Police say the driver of the black car pulled up to the stop sign but didn't see the motorcyclist coming down Ayers and turned in front of him.

Both collided and the motorcyclist hit the side of the black car.

Sr. Officer Gabriel Alvarez with CCPD said, "the motorcycle rider flipped off the bike, and was complaining of minor back and neck pain transported to hospital for that."

As for the driver of the black car, police say she was also taken to the hospital after suffering from a panic attack.

She was given a ticket.

The motorcyclist is expected to be okay.
