CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

After several months of renovations, a popular senior center in the Flour Bluff area hosted its grand reopening ceremony Wednesday afternoon.

Residents of the Ethel Eyerly Senior Center were there taking part in a Zumba class, while others participated in a fierce ping pong match. The celebration marked the end of a 10-month remodeling project.

"We just want everybody in the community to know that the Center is available to them," said Deborah Henry of the Ethel Eyerly Senior Center. "The ages are 50 and over for all the activities. For a meal program, to eat a well-balanced meal, it's for seniors 60 and over. So just come and join us and have a wonderful time."

The Center is located at 654 Graham Road. For more information, you can call them at 361-937-3218.
