Police Investigate City's Latest Homicide

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

The Corpus Christi Police Department is investigating the city's 8th homicide after a man was fatally shot early Thursday morning.

According to officers, the 52-year-old victim was shot just after 1 a.m. in the front yard of a home in the 200 block of Edwards St. near Del Mar College.  The victim died on scene. Police have arrested 41-year-old Susana Salcido, she is their only suspect at this time.

3 News spoke to a neighbor who believes this could have been a result of domestic violence after she heard crying and a commotion.
