Buc Days Pro Rodeo To Hold Mutton Bustin Mania Saturday

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

Get on the sheep, squeeze those legs, and hold on to that wool for the ride of your life little cowboys and cowgirls.

Mutton Bustin Mania will be Saturday from 10 a.m. to Noon on Shoreline and Park, where the little ones can try their luck at mutton bustin.

Children must be at least 5 years old to ride and no more than 55 pounds. Registration costs $25 and it benefits the Buc Days Commission.

As many contestants can ride, but only a certain amount will be drawn at random to ride in the Buc Days Rodeo April 24-27.

The drawing will take place at 1 p.m. after all contestants have ridden the sheep. Those winners that get drawn must be present to accept their spot.

From Noon to 1 p.m. there will be a jalapeno eating contestants hosted by Whataburger.
