Police Seek Women Accused of Using Stolen Checks at Walmart

ARANSAS PASS (Kiii News) -

The Aransas Pass Police Department is looking for two women who used stolen checks to purchase 12 Green Dot prepaid credit cards totaling almost $5,000 just before 5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29.

Surveillance footage from the store shows the women as they made their purchase and left the store. One suspect was wearing a tight, gray top with light gray bottoms. The other was wearing a bright pink top and black bottoms.

Aransas Pass police believe the women may have ties in Houston and are hitting other places around Texas. If you recognize these women, please call Sgt. Frank Kent with the Aransas Pass Police Department's Investigations Division, or submit a tip anonymously with the Tri-County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-245-8477.
