CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) - In an effort to prevent identity theft, Kiii-TV has teamed up with the Better Business Bureau to host Shred Day, an on-site document destruction event, on Saturday, April 26.

From 9 a.m.-noon, cars will be pulling up in front of the Kiii-TV studios, located at 5002 SPID, and unloading boxes and bags of documents that they want to dispose of safely. Participants can bring up to three bags or boxes of documents per car, which will be shredded on site.

Guests can also bring old computers, electronics and cell phones to be recycled.

For more information on Shred Day, contact Tracy Bracy with the Better Business Bureau at 361-852-4991.
