WHO:

Theresa Vail – a 2013 Miss Kansas winner, a 2014 Miss America top ten finalist, a Sergeant in the Kansas Army National Guard and an avid bowhunter – is joining forces with Outdoor Channel, America's Leader In Outdoor TV, as host of a new adventure-driven TV series, titled "Limitless with Theresa Vail."

WHAT:

"Limitless with Theresa Vail" will debut in July 2015 as part of Outdoor Channel's third quarter roster of riveting outdoor lifestyle entertainment. The brand new half-hour TV series, which is currently in production, will epitomize the bold character of the host and chronicle both Vail's flair for adventure and her love of the outdoors. Through its intricate story lines, "Limitless" will present the compelling story of an all-American woman who is on a mission to overcome stereotypes, break barriers and transform people's opinions of all things a woman can and should be – whether on stage, as a service member or in the field.

Filming for the series has already begun with the pilot episode taking place in Pratt, Kansas – Vail's home state – for an in-depth look at her back story, including the road to being crowned Miss Kansas, the radical decision to display her tattoos while competing in the pageant, and the determination behind teaching herself the Puccini aria "Nessun Dorma" from the opera "Turandot" in just two short days. Later in the episode, Vail meets up with David Blanton of "Realtree Outdoors" for a whitetail hunt on the picturesque prairies of the Sunflower State.

Vail traverses North America scouting her next big quest. She'll tie in a 26.2 mile trek in the Bataan Death March in New Mexico; climb Wyoming's notorious "Devil's Tower"; head to the coasts of British Columbia in search of grizzlies; harvest her first elk in New Mexico; and skydive with the West Point Parachute Team – all during a fun-filled 11-episode season.

WHY:

In each episode, Vail will be in circumstances where she is constantly pushing the limits and testing boundaries. Audiences will see how she applies the same grit and determination that are essential qualities among America's Armed Forces heroes into action-packed journeys for thrill-seekers and fearless scenarios for passionate outdoor enthusiasts.

WHEN:

"Limitless with Theresa Vail" will begin airing on Outdoor Channel as part of the network's summer programming lineup in July 2015.
