Man Accused of Exposing Himself at North Pope Park Arrested

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) - Police have arrested Jesus Hurtado, 43, in connection with several incidents of indecent exposure at North Pope Park, near Wilson Elementary and Hamlin Middle School.

It was two weeks ago when police put out security video of the suspect. Police were able to identify the suspect and get an arrest warrant for Hurtado. He voluntarily surrendered and was taken into custody at the Nueces County Sheriff's Office just before 4:30 p.m. Monday.

Hurtado is charged with indecency with a child and is now facing up to 10 years in jail and a $10,000 fine. Bond has been set at $100,000.
