Tim's Market Reopens Two Weeks After Fatal Shooting

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) - Two weeks after a shooting that left a beloved convenience store owner dead, the Tim's Market has reopened for business.

The store, located at Brownlee and Ayers, opened its doors Tuesday and is back to serving the neighborhood. The store is now being run by the late Benjamin Mustafa's wife and daughter.

Mustafa's family said they know he would have wanted them to get back to work serving their community.

Three people -- Del Victoria Cavazos, Arturo Navarro and Daniel Garcia -- have been charged with capital murder for the fatal shooting of 59-year old Mustafa. If convicted, they could face life in prison, or even the death penalty.
