UPDATE: A 10-year old Corpus Christi boy who was missing since Friday has been found unharmed, according to the Corpus Christi Police Department. Police reported that Donavain Rodriguez had been located at 7 p.m. at the Casa De Santa Fe Apartments on Antelope, about two hours after 3News aired the following story.  Dorothy Palafox, the boy's mom told 3 News when she found out he was safe, she felt "relief. Just ah happy excited. Thankful that he's home and safe."  Police say a woman living at the apartment complex says she was watching the news when she spotted the little boy at the apartment complex.  Police say he is back with his proper guardian.  Its unknown why he was at the apartment complex or if he was there with anyone else.

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) - The effort to find 10-year old Donavain Rodriguez had some heads shaking. It was not until the National Missing and Exploited Children's website featured young Donavain that word began to get out that the boy has been missing.

The 10-year old was attending the Student Support Center, the alternative school for the Corpus Christi Independent School District, on Friday. At around 9 a.m., his mother said he was caught trying to break into an office at the school; and when confronted, Donavain ran from the school and hasn't been seen since.

Donavain's mother, Dorothy Palafox, spoke with 3News by phone Tuesday. She said Donavain has run away from home before, but never for more than a day, and that she and her husband have spent their days and nights searching for him.

"I'm afraid and I'm confused," Palafox said. "I'm afraid for him, you know? I don't know where he's at. I don't know who he's with."

Palafox said she and her husband have tried to convince Donavain that running away isn't safe, but she's worried that he doesn't know the danger he may be in.

Donavain's parents are hoping someone has seen their 10-year old son and might be able to help locate him. If you have any information that can help, please call the Corpus Christi Police Department at 361-886-2600.
