Police Recover Truck Stolen Overnight by Two Women

Posted: Updated:
CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) - A man from out of town woke up Thursday morning to find his truck had been stolen, allegedly by a two women he met overnight. According to police, the man met the two ladies Wednesday night and they all ended up at his hotel room; but the following morning, just after 10 a.m., the man noticed his truck and the women were gone.

Luckily for the man, police were able to find the truck in the 1700 block of Dawn Breeze Drive, near Rodd Field Road.

"The great thing is that it was equipped with OnStar, and they were able to track it down to the 1700 block of Dawn Breeze and we were able to make a recovery," said Sgt. Robbie Rodriguez of the Corpus Christi Police Department.

Police said that other than a minor inconvenience of getting new keys to his truck, nothing else was taken. Investigators believe they have a good idea of who the two ladies were.
