Lemonade Day In Corpus Christi

Posted: Updated:
CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -  There's nothing like some iced cold lemonade on a hot day. On Saturday mother nature provided the heat and thousands of kids from around the coastal bend made up the lemonade. All part of the National Lemonade day which started in Houston back in 2007 as Michael Holthouse and his wife wanted to come up with a way for kids to learn about running a business.  All these pictures you see  were sent to us via the Facebook  but we also went around town talking to these kids some who were giving all of their profits to local charities. Locally lemonade day is sponsored by the Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce.
