CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) - S.P.I.D. is back open this morning after an accident shut down the part of the highway. The crash happened just before 2:30 near Staples and Airline in front of Sunrise Mall. Investigators say a woman in her 20's was behind the wheel when she lost control and hit a median, causing her to flip. She was taken to a nearby hospital with minor cuts and bruises. Officers believe alcohol may have been a factor. Once again, S.P.I.D. is open at this time.
